Formed her own business in 1985, called Flies By Wendy, making fishing flies for fishing, framed fly displays and associated gifts, also selling fly tying materials and tackle.

Currently she has written two books on fly dressing, aimed at the easier way to dress flies, showing simplified techniques developed to help the problem areas of fly dressing, many which have been developed at night school, to help in some cases less able bodied people and beginners to the art. Demonstrator at the 2006/07 The Spring Flyfishing Show and British Fly Fair International 2006/07.
Wendy’s framed collections of trout and salmon flies are some of the best quality currently available in the UK and have been featured on three programmemes about her talent, the programmemes being, network TV called “Maker’s” with Jan Leaming, a spot on midlands Today with the BBC and “Down to Earth” for Welsh TV.
Wendy looks forward to seeing you at the Spring Flyfishing Show and hopes she will be able to solve any of your fly dressing problems.
