BIG WILD FISH FROM BIG WILD WATERS
David Wolsoncroft-Dodds will be giving an illustrated talk about his recent pike fly fishing adventures.
He has fished huge loughs in Ireland, big lochs in Scotland, the
Swedish Baltic and the vast wilderness of Northern Manitoba. The pike
were quite happy to engulf his English flies and displayed no prejudice
whatsoever!
David will explain how to approach tackling large waters and how to
avoid feeling intimidated by them. He will try to convey the excitement
of hunting pike in places that don’t experience any human interference.
He’ll be happy to answer any questions from people keen to try fly
fishing for pike – he’s also tying examples of his proven pike flies at
the show.
