 I am 38 years old living in the Scottish Borders, I solely fish rivers, with the Tweed, Teviot and the river Leader just outside my front door, 'I'm really spoiled for choice'. In 2010 I shall be representing Scotland in both the home rivers international on the Tees, England and European championships in Bosnia. My fishing and tying philosophy is, keep it simple. This is my first tying show, be nice to me... Please write about your favoute fly fishing pattern. I dont have a single favourite pattern, I fish the flies to suit the water. What other patterns and styles of flyfishing do you enjoy most. I like all aspects of river fishing, but nymphing is my favourite. Is there a style of flytying you enjoy more than others! Tying flies for river trout and grayling. What is your most memorable flyfishing moment. Qualifying for Scottish rivers team 2010.  What is your most favored peice of flyfishing equipment. My Streamflex 10ft 3#. What is your most favoured peice of flytying equipment. Power Silk.  What type of flyfishing rod and reel do you use. Greys Streamflex 10ft 3# and 9ft 4# with Greys GLA reels. What type of flytying will you be tying at the show and are there any specific tying techniques you will be demonstrating at the show. Simple, easy to tie river flies.  |
