 I have 10 Scottish river caps, I was the Scottish river champion 2001 and British river champion in 2007. I must confess; I am a competition fanatic. Please write about your favoute fly fishing pattern. I dont have a favorite fly pattern. I fish the 'fly and the method' to catch fish in whichever particular piece of water. What other patterns and styles of flyfishing do you enjoy most. My favorite methods are various forms of nymph, french, polish, stimmy nymph, long nymphing. Is there a style of flytying you enjoy more than others! Nymph fishing to sighted fish. What is your most memorable flyfishing moment. Being captain of a gold winning team and winning the individual gold medal at the 2007 international on the river Liffey in Ireland What is your most favoured peice of flyfishing equipment. My Hardy Marksman 9ft 5#. Absolute class... What type of flyfishing rod and reel do you use. Hardy & Greys rods with Lamson reels. What type of flytying will you be tying at the show and are there any specific tying techniques you will be demonstrating at the show. Easy to tie killer nymphs in various forms. |

The British Shooting show is now being held the weekend before The Spring flyfishing Show on the 27th & 28th of February 2010 at the Newark Showground. A large number of flyfishers are also shooters and therefore an ideal opportunity for
those interested in shooting to visit this fantastic show.
