Sili-Skin - Learn the simple and effective ways of tying with this unique material. Theo Bakelaar has been tying flies for as long as he can remember. He has tied at most of the worlds fly fishing shows and his talks are in demand and well attended by fly fishers and fly tyers looking for something new. A flyting demonstration not to be missed. Theo says; 'Since I am over the 60 years young mark I have found more time to re-live my previous techniques and experiment more. I always liked to play with glue and gummy stuff... and therefore would love to show you how to tie with Sili-Skin. I have noticed that a lot of people have real problems when tying with Sili-Skin, that really sticky stuff. Its very realistic for fly patterns. But... I have good news for you... its the simplest material to tie with. When I have finished this demonstration on how to tie with Sili-Skin, you will say; WOW, I really need to have a go with this...   The flies you can tie with Sili-Skin are great for either saltwater or fresh water. I have caught lots of fish with them and so have 1000's of fly fishers around the world. The second fly I like to show you is my; Real Eel Skin Stir Fry.
