I live in the south of Sweden, just at the southern point of lake Votten. I am a school teacher in the secondary school and teach maths and science. Please write about your favourite fly fishing pattern. The area from where i come has a tradition of tying flies with soft hackles, like traditional spiders, flymphs and cdc dry flies. All of these patterns hold special memories for me. What other patterns and styles of flyfishing do you enjoy most. I have recently been working with a new dvd project about czech nymphing. I have been practising this method for a while now and like it very much. Is there a style of flytying you enjoy more than others! I wish i could say there was, but i like to tie all kinds of flies. I tied Dame Julianas flies the other day and enjoyed that as much as i enjoy tying full dressed salmon flies. The only problem now is, lack of time. What is your most memorable flyfishing moment. It must have been when i cought my huge pike in a little river with a hares ear nymph and a weight four rod. The pike was 126 cm long 49 inches - puh. What is your favourite piece of flyfishing equipment. I am not very interested in flyfishing equipment, more of fishing and fly tying itself. What is your favourite piece of flytying equipment. I am always happy to see my LAW- vice. What type of flyfishing rod and reel do you use. Anything to catch fish...... What type of flytying will you be tying at the show and are there any specific tying techniques you will be demonstrating at the show. I will tie mostly with cdc. I have seen that this subject fascinates people as much today as it did five years ago. I think that these flies catch us all. It is not only the flies but the techniques that make them fascinating.
