Please write about your favoute fly fishing pattern. My favourite pattern has to be the Dabbler,created by Donald McClaren from Dromore this pattern has insipred me more than any other pattern over the years. What other patterns and styles of flyfishing do you enjoy most. I get immense enjoyment tying Irish Lough patterns and tweeking them for use on the rainbow lakes in the UK and for the Irish Loughs for Salmon. Is there a style of flytying you enjoy more than others!Currently i am working on woven style nymphs for the Loughs and rivers What is your most rememberable flyfishing moment. My most memorable fly fishing moment was landing a 9lb spring Salmon on Lough Melvin on a size 14 Green Peter.After 45 minutes of sheer pain it was sucessfully boated. What is your most favoured peice of flyfishing equipment. My prized piece of fishing equipment is my old Hardy Pope cane rod given to me by an old angling friend who is no longer with us. What is your most favoured peice of flytying equipment. My favourite piece of flytying equipment is my trusty velcro brush that I made years ago from a piece of brass bar, and never leaves my desk. What type of flyfishing rod and reel do you use. I use a Greys 9ft 8/9 salt water and a sciear XDA reel, these have never let me down yet for salmon seatrout pike and bass. What type of flytying will you be tying at the show and are there any specific tying techniques you will be demonstrating at the show.
